Stereotypes What are stereotypes? "A stereotype is an over-generalised, widely accepted opinion, notion, image or idea about a person, place, or thing."( The good, the bad,and the what of stereotypes )(14/may/2020). St ereotypes are bad because they make you change your way of being simply because people criticize you. First, Is associated with traits of individuals or groups by categorising them features, or attitudes they think are perfect. Second, t hey shape our perception of ourselves and those around us. When you define a person you do not see the individuality of the person beyond their "label" or allow them to be individuals in their own right.
